The Corona-Norco United Way Youth Board is a group of young, diverse students who foster personal discovery & development, while providing light to our community.
Position: Youth Board Member

Role Summary
The Corona-Norco United Way Youth Board is a group of diverse youth who aspire to grow in leadership and life skills while making a positive impact in their community. Under the guidance of Corona-Norco United Way, Youth Board Members receive mentorship, leadership and personal development, and opportunities to prepare for a successful future.
Through this journey of personal growth and discovery, Youth Board Members commit to serving the community by supporting individuals and families in need. This includes participating in community events, collecting school supplies for low-income students, supporting holiday initiatives for families facing poverty or violence at home, and contributing to an annual Community Impact Project developed by the Youth Board.
Responsibilities
Attend monthly meetings (3rd Friday of every month at 4:45 PM)
Actively participate in events, programs, and projects
Contribute to the planning and execution of a yearly Community Impact Project
Weekly time commitment: Approximately 2–3 hours
Term length: August 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027
Basic Qualifications
Must have completed 8th grade by June 2026
Must be an incoming freshman, sophomore, or junior by Fall 2026
(New incoming seniors are not eligible to apply. Only returning Youth Board members may serve during their senior year.)
Must be enrolled in a public, private, charter, or homeschool within the jurisdictions of Corona, Norco, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Home Gardens, Temescal Valley, Coronita, or El Cerrito OR currently reside in one of the listed cities or surrounding county areas
Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
