The Corona-Norco United Way Domestic Violence Transformation & Sustainability Program provides confidential, trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and free services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. We serve adults and children who have experienced abuse, witnessed family violence, or are seeking support to increase safety, stability, healing, and long-term self-sufficiency.
Services are available regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, immigration status, socioeconomic status, or other protected characteristics.
We recognize that seeking help can be difficult. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel respected, heard, and empowered to make informed decisions about their lives. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Our approach is rooted in transformation and sustainability. We work alongside participants to help strengthen safety, build resilience, identify resources, develop healthy support systems, and work toward long-term stability. Our role is to provide advocacy, education, support, referrals, and guidance while empowering individuals to make decisions that are right for their unique circumstances.
We believe that individuals are the experts of their own lives and have the capacity for growth, healing, and change. While our staff are committed to providing support, advocacy, resources, and encouragement, participants play an important role in their own journey. The greatest success is often achieved when individuals are willing to actively engage in services, participate in the process, and work toward their personal goals. Lasting change is built through a partnership between participants and program staff.
