On Friday, February 19th Corona-Norco United Way, in partnership with the Community Action Partnership Agency, began its initiative for Financial Stability and Independence. The initiative provides an opportunity for working families who make less than $50,000 a year to prepared their taxes for free. The following tax preparation days are Friday, February 26th, March 19th and 26th. from 2:00-8:00 at the Corona PALs program located at 302 Merrill Street, Corona, CA 92882, in the corner of Merrill and 3rd.

The initiative also allows the families or individuals to sign up for 30 hours of financial education and further more, they can register for a savings program that will allow the families and individuals to save $2,000 in two years or less and double their savings through a match incentive fund of $4,000 by the end of the two years.
